Coronavirus - Volunteering to Help in Croxley Green
The following information has been provided by the Croxley Green Parish Council...
We will all be facing uncertain times over the next few months with the development of the Coronavirus and your Parish Council will do whatever it can to help Croxley Green. The Parish Council is now setting up a database of volunteers within Croxley Green to provide help to those who may need to self-isolate over the new few months, and especially older residents in our community.
If your household is self-isolating, having trouble getting supplies or needs some advice, then contact Ryan or Amanda by email at email@example.com or by phone on 01923 710250 or and we will get you in touch with a volunteer. If we cannot help you directly, we probably know someone who can.
If you are healthy and able to help, then please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with a contact number and which road you live on. We are looking to have multiple volunteers for each street in Croxley Green.
The Parish Council will act as facilitator between those asking for assistance and those kind enough to provide it. If a resident calls us requesting help, we will try and pair them with a volunteer who lives close by.
We will keep residents updated with local developments on our website, Twitter and Facebook pages. There is also a dedicated Croxley Green Coronavirus Help Group Facebook page that has been set up by a local resident.
The following shops have offered a local delivery service within Croxley Green:
The Grocer on the Green (01923 774559)
Croxley Hardware (01923 246907)
Londis (01923 775778)
You can phone in an order and it will be delivered to you.
Look out for one another and keep washing your hands.
